This pool enclosure kit is available in a choice of finishes; white or bronze.
The PRO-TECT* Fastener Protection System design allows for a sleeve to repel down to the firm concrete giving rigidity to the aluminum around the fastener reducing the risk of over torque and creating a gully in the aluminum where water will collect. This shaft encases the fastener and protects from salt, air and water intrusion.
With the added protection of the color matched glass reinforced nylon cap, water and salt is now repelled away from the fastener head. This Pro-Tect cap and sleeve system also solves the problem of electrolysis or aluminum deterioration and fastener corrosion due to dissimilar metals touching, as they are not in contact. Now a more cost effective, stronger, Miami-Dade Approved ceramic-coated Carbon Steel BLUE-TAP can be used, adding strength and stability to a now worry-free installation process. Great Product
I was first introduced to Florida Fasteners Direct products at Lowes in Cape Coral, FL. I was redoing my lanai replacing old screws & these were the perfect item. When I move to North Central Florida, and began redoing my wrap around porch, I began my search to find their products again. They look great, are durable, and add class to my aluminum frame work.

PRO-TECT KIT
The Pro-Tect Kit and Nylo-Tec products are very high and a perfect upgrade to the original screws used on the pool cage. It looks so much better with these on the cage now. Can’t say enough about FFD - great product, fast service and even better people. I made a mistake of my own doing and they went well above & beyond to bail me out. Thank you Lindsey & Gabe! Kit worked extremely well, didn't need to get anything extra it cam with all of the supplies needed. I was able to pop the box open and get started. It looks good with the caps, presents a professional installation.

Pro-Tect Pool Enclosure Kit - White
I had rusted screws with the heads broken off. I was able to drill a hole at an angle into the concrete and screw new screws in their place. The down side is that it took a long time to drill all the way down and auger the hole to fit the new sleeve. It took an hour to do 4 screws. It seemed like the drill bits were dull but it must have been something else. It took a lot of pressure to keep drilling. Finally the holes were deep enough and the final product looks great.
